It has always been an unmissable event for buyers and the press during Milan Fashion Week. Fashion Hub Market is a pillar project in the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana’s strategy for furthering the work of new-generation designers. For eleven editions now, it has been on the agendas of everyone interested in knowing the best talents that come from around the world to present their creations in Italy. There has been no lack of support for the new generation of creatives even during the present period. In the July edition, the first Milan Digital Fashion Week saw the International Fashion Hub Market held virtually. The event was devoted to men’s fashion. Eleven international brands from the United Kingdom, South Korea, Australia, Ghana, Japan, Morocco, Italy, Canada, Nigeria and China unveiled their collections for SS 2021. During the digital fashion week, creatives also presented their collections backed by the #TogetherForTomorrow initiative, launched together with the Camera Moda Fashion Trust. Its aim in this difficult moment was to sustain the new generation of talents made in Italy. Apart from assisting in the communication and production of events, #TogetherForTomorrow has involved professionals in the fashion sector with special webinars on various important issues for new-generation brands. The topics include communication, legal advice, intellectual property and brand registration. In addition, CNMI has brokered agreements with e-commerce platforms to help talents sell their SS 2020 collections left unsold because of Covid-19 and is promoting them internationally. CNMI’s goal is to keep the #TogetherForTomorrow project alive even after the crisis to showcase and support the new generation of talents.
