The Pathfinder
Aiming at propelling the avant-garde store founded by his parents, Michaël Hadida wants to renew the spaces and expand the e-commerce, also thanks to a brand new project.
Martine and Armand Hadida are the founders of the historical Parisienne multi-brand store Leclaireur, which is now living under the creative energy of one of their sons, Michaël Hadida. After a history of forty years during which his parents created an avant-garde scene in the fashion retail industry, Michaël Hadida’s aim is to propel the company into the future. Starting from such an important heritage, Michaël Hadida wants “to keep renewing the selection of the designers with younger newcomers, pushing collaborations and limited editions with a responsible approach, when possible.” Thus, the project, imagined together with Vogue Talents, arrives with a perfect timing: in order to promote young designers, during the upcoming Spring Summer 2022 edition of Paris Fashion Week at the end of September, Leclaireur will host a selection of brands chosen by Vogue Talents. The event will consist in a 3 days showroom showcasing the Spring Summer 2022, Fall Winter 2021-22 collections or archive pieces of the selected labels to present them to the concept store’s customers, both physically and live on social networks. Renovating the Paris boutiques and expanding the e-commerce are two other main objectives in Michaël Hadida’s vision, together with the research for new designers and creators for which Leclaireur has always been famous. “Our DNA remains the same,” says Hadida, “to be the counter window for creativity. The name of the store means pathfinder with the purpose to be a step ahead, discovering new talents and trends by travelling the world, then mixing fashion with design, art and lifestyle together.” All the spaces, originally created by the Hadida couple, have been thought through an artistic approach, involving contemporary designers in order to nurture this constant relationship between art and fashion. “By building connections and promoting talents in the long term it’s like being part of a big family at the end,” concludes Hadida.
