I adore textures that illustrate how I feel: warmth with my jerseys, strength with my vegan leathers, fluidity and agility with my towelling, structure with my canvas, and so on. My shapes come directly from my heart, conveying freedom through gentle lines and curves that evoke water. I contrast this with heavy gathering and by emphasising areas of the body that I’d like to cherish.”
