A special key visual made of text and images has been developed to support the Spring Summer 2022 edition of the Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo.

From 30 August to 4 September 2021 Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo takes place for the Spring Summer 2022 season. Among physical locations such as Shibuya Hikarie and Omotesando Hills, digital events and fashion shows, there are a lot of new and established brands involved by Japan Fashion Week Organization, like Bed j.w. Ford, Dressedundressed, Meagratia and tac:tac. For this new edition of the Fashion Week a key visual has been developed to support the event with images and a text. Live your self.

Words flattening due to the rise of SNS, Becoming an age in which anybody can transmit freely,

Without being influenced by title or organisation.

An age in which what is said is more important than who said it.

Now that everything is moving towards the next stage,

The most important thing is not to be tied down by common sense,

To possess a strong will and your own style.

What is it that fashion can do?

It is to “live your self”.

“Living your self” is the ultimate weapon in fashion.

The ability to freely express

“living your self” is fashion and style. “Live your self” = Be selfish.

“Live your self” means possessing a free imagination and fast will, living your life (fashion) befitting your self.

By carrying through your own style, new values are born. So, get dressed in your self-style, and go enjoy the town. For the new world we are creating, you and me.
