The new Havaianas flagship store: vibrant colours, tropical prints and a design that has now become iconic
You just need to cross its threshold to feel as if you’re on holiday, sitting under a palm tree and sipping a caipirinha. A mood shared by all Havaianas stores, including its new Italian flagship store. Located in Corso Buenos Aires, this is the brand’s fifth outpost following recent openings in Florence, Rome and Riccione. The Milanese space of the rubber flip flop brand, founded in Brazil in 1962 and renowned throughout the world, is spread over a surface area of 1000 square metres with three windows facing onto the street and a large, luminous sales area. The store’s décor and displays in relaxing summery shades and carioca prints immediately transport customers into the fun, vibrant and spontaneous world of Havaianas. Inside, in addition to the entire range of the brand’s iconic, brightly-coloured flip flops, you’ll find a new line of women’s sandals, designed to be worn in the city thanks to the use of a more resistant rubber and a front closure. The Milan flagship store also stocks a wide, colourful range of Havaianas beachwear for men and women including bikinis, shorts, bermudas, sarongs and T-shirts, plus a dazzling collection of sunglasses.
