Multiple new, upscale pastry shops are popping up all over Milan, testifying to the city’s love of sweet treats. One example is Roberto Rinaldi’s new store/ workshop located almost directly opposite Teatro alla Scala. A talented, multi-award winning pastry chef from Rimini, Rinaldini has been described as a ‘pastry designer’ thanks to the aesthetics and contemporary colours of his delectable creations. At his new space in Milan, Rinaldini has created a collection of eight pastries dedicated to the history of the neighbouring temple of music. In addition to pastries, it also boasts a café and a small bistro serving fresh pasta, cappelletti and gourmet piadine (wraps).
