THE FANTASTICAL WORLD OF SARAH
▼ Milan pays tribute to French photographer and film maker Sarah Moon with two parallel exhibitions at
Armani/Silos and Fondazione Sozzani. Sarah Moon (1941), alias Marielle Hadengue, has created a unique, unmistakable visual language, a dream-like world. The exhibition at the spaces of Armani/Silos includes 170 works (from the mid-1970s to 2018) offering a sweeping overview of her photographic universe seen through a fresh perspective. On the other hand, Sarah Moon's ‘Time at Work' at the Fondazione Sozzani features 90 works highlighting the evolution of her artistic career from 1995 to the present time, accompanied by an historical documentary about Lillian Bassman and a short film titled ‘Contacts' (1995).
