Former Pink Floyd member David Gilmour will be the first musician to perform a rock concert in public in Pompeii. In 1971, Pink Floyd was the first-ever rock band to play at this historic location when it recorded “Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii” without an audience. The two performances are part of the world tour “Rattle That Lock”. Forty-five years after the legendary Live at Pompeii, David Gilmour returns to play at one of the most unique and beautiful destinations in the world. With him, the legend of Pink Floyd continues to live on in Pompeii.
