A line-up of stars in Ischia, from 9-17 July, thanks to the 14th edi­tion of the Ischia Global Film & Mu­sic Fest, con­ceived by Pas­cal Vice­do­mini and pro­moted by the Ischia In­ter­na­tional Arts Academy.

An en­tire week ded­i­cated to cul­ture and in­ter­na­tional cinema at the Albergo della Regina Is­abella, in­clud­ing world­wide pre­views and other char­i­ta­ble events. This year, with the Ischia Leg­end Awards, the fes­ti­val will hon­our the di­rec­tor of Ital­ian pho­tog­ra­phy Vit­to­rio Storaro, fa­mous for his edit­ing of Woody Allen’s film “Cafè So­ci­ety”, and the Amer­i­can screen­writer Barry Mor­row, who will present his first film as the di­rec­tor of “Smit­ten!”, filmed in Italy and based on his screen­play. And there’s more! There will be a show­ing, for the first time in Italy, of the film Muham­mad (God’s Messenger), by Ira­nian di­rec­tor Ma­jid Ma­jidi, about the birth of Is­lam, with mu­sic by the com­poser Al­lah Rakha Rahman, who re­ceived an Os­car for his theme song in The Mil­lion­aire, with spe­cial ef­fects by Scott E. An­der­son, who won an Os­car for the film Babe. This im­por­tant event by Vice­do­mini will also ded­i­cate a spe­cial ret­ro­spec­tive to the di­rec­tor and screen­writer David Cro­nen­berg, author of sev­eral well known films about the his­tory of cinema, in­clud­ing “Video­drome”, “Crash” and “La Mosca”. >>­chia­
