Abreathtaking view, minimalist décor and signature cocktails. Located on the top floor of the Intesa Sanpaolo Skyscraper, the new Piano35 lounge-bar is the latest symbol of contemporary Turin designed by archistar Renzo Piano. Here, visitors can sample signature drinks while enjoying a breathtaking view over the city and its surrounding Alpine range. With its terrace overlooking a bio-climatic garden, Piano35 is the loftiest area in the skyscraper and Italy’s highest cocktail bar. The locale is helmed by multi-award winning mixologist Mirko Turconi who, in addition to classic cocktails, proposes a selection of his creations inspired by traditional Piedmontese ingredients. From ‘Piemontais– un mai tai che passeggia tra le montagne piemontesi’ with grappa, vermouth infused with roasted chestnuts, orange and hazelnut barley water to ‘Red-rosso di sera, cioccolato si spera’, comprising a mixture of chocolate with strawberry-infused Campari, vodka and a Barbera and bay leaf syrup. These marvels of mixology are accompanied by a selection of delectable finger foods prepared ad hoc by the Piano35 restaurant, located two floors below. And then, of course, there are those 360-degree views of the Mole Antonelliana, Palazzo Reale and the Juventus Stadium.
