▼ Two pain­tings by An­drea Man­te­gna and Gio­van­ni Bel­li­ni, two of the grea­te­st ar­tists of the Ita­lian Re­nais­san­ce, bo­th fea­tu­ring an identical com­po­si­tio­nal struc­tu­re. This ex­hi­bi­tion com­pa­res two works de­pic­ting the sa­me su­b­ject and ex­plo­res the re­la­tion­ship bet­ween two of the grea­te­st ex­po­nen­ts of Ita­lian Re­nais­san­ce art, who al­so hap­pe­ned to be re­la­ted by mar­ria­ge. The moun­ting of this ‘ma­gi­cal com­pa­ri­son' at the Que­ri­ni Stam­pa­lia Foun­da­tion was en­tru­sted to re­no­w­ned ar­chi­tect Ma­rio Bot­ta.
