Lipstyck making Money Moves
Singjay Lipstyck released a new single, Money Move, in early november on the St Owen Records label to rave reviews from dancehall fans. The song is already generating a huge buzz in dancehall markets in Latin america, jamaica and the USA.
“I am excited about the feedback so far on the song. It is available on Zojak World Wide, itunes, Apple Music, Tidal and Google Play. The feedback on this song is even better than the feedback I got on my previous release, OMG when it was just released. People from all over a link me on social media and say it is a hit,” Lipstyck said.
Earlier this year, Lipstyck scored well with her breakout song, OMG, which racked up over one million views on video-sharing site, Youtube, since its release.
“We plan to shoot a video for Money Move soon. This song is going to blow up,” Lipstyck said.
Lipstyck grew up in the Brunswick Avenue area of Spanish Town where she attended Ensom City All-age and then Bog Walk High.
After graduating, she did few courses and became a certified cosmetologist and a nail technician. In 2013, she released her first professionally mixed and mastered studio song,
You and Me on the ‘Savali’ riddim in 2013 for Digital Vibez Entertainment, a local-based label. She continued to finetune her stage craft doing road shows for IRIE FM and HITZ92FM.
In late 2016, she inked a deal with St Owenz Records. Over the next two years, she released a battery of songs such as Unstoppable Warrior (2016), You’re so hot/ Tempting (2017), Secret feat Netherlands-based artiste B3nji (2018), before getting her big breakthrough with OMG (2018).
She just seems to be improving each time, upping her game to the next level.
“Right now, I am totally dedicated towards doing great music and I love the direction my career is heading in, it’s a good look,” she said.
