It was almost midnight last Saturday when the second annual Campari Pop Style fashion and street style showcase culminated inside Skateland in Half-way-tree. Scores of patrons showed up in eye-catching outfits, most with an element of surprise, all in the name of competing for the J$500,000 cash prizes, and Most Stylish Male and Female titles. The four regional champions already had an in. Wild card Rushane Campbell, in all his show-stopping shimmering splendour, didn’t stand a chance against Most Stylish Male finishers Jovanni Lancaster and Kevin Donville, who swept the first- and second-place titles and prizes, respectively. Meanwhile, Mikayla Salmon from Old Harbour won the $250K and her second Most Stylish Female title. Some honourable mentions were dancer and recording artiste Amanyea Stines, who gave Salmon and the top five finalists a run for the Pop Style money. But it was Bossclique Boutique sales representative Paskelle Cooper who wound up taking the second-place prize. picks up where Page 2 left off.
