Catastrophe averted

Dear Editor,

Over 12 large garbage bags of cut grass were lit on an open lot by the Karachi residential complex early Saturday morning.

Fire brigade officers were called and they promptly responded.

We are grateful, especially asthmatics, that no catastrophe occurred.
