Cavalli looks to One Lord

-

SINGJAY Lord Cavalli is gaining a lot of traction with One Lord, which showcases his brand of dancehall-british trap.

“The video for One Lord has racked up over 51,000 views on my VEVO, and the song is doing well in the streets,” said the 25-year-old.

One Lord was released under his label, One Lord Records, in February this year. That song is being distributed digitally by Zojak World Wide.

He is signed to MBR Records, headed by Tawanna Jones. The singjay recently made a cameo in Shaggy’s latest video project, Money Up.

Producers including production duo Busta Rhymes and Spliff Star, and Andrew “Anju Blaxxx” Myrie, have also begun to send beats his way.

“Cavalli did a song with Fanatics — who recently produced Just Touch Down with Stylo G, Nicki Minaj, and Vybz

Kartel — and that song is coming out soon. Many others are also showing an interest,” said Jones.

Cavalli (given name Cavali Mcdonald) is confirmed to perform on a series of gigs in countries such as Rwanda, South Sudan, Nigeria, Uganda and in the region of East Africa later this year.

“We are getting a lot of local offers for shows. We will confirm the African shows by May, so we’re just putting in the hard work and gearing up for the summer,” said Jones.

His other singles Four Wives, Deal With It, and Striker will be released in May

2019 and will be distributed by J Wonder 21st distribution under the One Lord/ MBR labels.
