New Bowens, Chapelton Maroons atop Clarendon FA Major League

new Bowens fc and Chapelton Maroons fc lead the 2018\2019 season of the Clarendon football Associatio­n samba sports\ Valumart Major League competitio­n after six rounds of games.

Chapelton Maroons lead Zone A with 13 points while New Bowens lead Zone B with 16 points.

In the last set of games played on Tuesday, Football Central earned their first three points by blanking Humble Lions Under-21 2-0 with goals from Mutt Ludford in the fourth minute and Lorenzo Howard in the 65th.

New Bowens and Longville played to a 0-0 scoreline at the end of their encounter.

Games continue today when Bucknor FC meet Football Central at Bucknor playing field, while tomorrow Woodhall FC play Moores United at Bucknor playing field. Both games are scheduled to start at 3:30 pm.

Twelve teams divided into zones A and B are vying for this season’s silverware.

In Zone A the teams are Chapelton Maroons leading with 13 points, followed by Bucknor United FC on 10, Humble Lions U21 on seven points, Woodhall FC on six, while Football Central and Moores United are on three points apiece.

Meanwhile, New Bowens lead Zone B with 16 points, followed by Sporting Central FC on eight, Original Hazard on six, Longville Park FC with five, Cross United on three, while Savannah FC trail the pack with two points.
