Gays are trampling on other people’s rights

Dear Editor,

I am beginning to wonder what evil has befallen us that normal, straight people, based on the Jamaica Constitution, are becoming an endangered species at the hand of homosexuals who have no place and basis for their open mandate and freedom of action.

The constitution does not provide for this agenda being pushed by these people who threaten the very fabric of our society. Those who are wise discern the exactness of my reasoning.

I laud Mayor Homer Davis, a man of great repute and substance, for standing so firm to protect our pride, not gay pride! Beautiful Jamaica, which our forefathers and mothers fought so relentlessly to guard and protect. The drafters of our constitution must be turning in their graves at such atrocities being done.

The gays are disrespectful, arrogant and must believe that somebody owes them something. How many times normal, straight people are denied their requests? Yet, we have to seek other alternatives. We don’t go around crying like babies trying to get what we want. We ‘man up’ and ‘woman up’ and move to Plan B.

Mobay Pride are not special. Whatever their agenda, they should keep it to themselves and behind closed doors. They should stay in their closet, if they may, as they are infringing on my rights, and I am offended.

I don’t know how a court of law could rule in their favour. What are the court’s terms of reference? If we are still guided by the constitution, buggery is still illegal. So with those people wanting to use the cultural centre to push same-sex marriage, the mayor is within his rights to protect the constitution from invaders. I believe that in a democracy, where majority rules, one can be denied their request at any time.

If you go to the bank for a loan you must satisfy their requirements, otherwise they will turn you down. You may be badly in need of a US visa and we all know you have freedom of movement but the US can deny you at any time without even an explanation.

Isn’t it quite ironic that in trying to secure their rights, gays are trampling on other people’s rights?

Heterosexuals need to start marching to protect their rights now because if we are not careful, very soon, we will be at the mercy of the LGBT community.

That day, I hope I will be with my God.
