Managing Director Allison Tulloch tells The Observer, “We started in 2012 but later upgraded to a showroom. While we are a retailer, we offer special facilities from small to medium projects and developments.

Currently, the company distributes for Durastone Jamaica Limited (manufacturers of thin sets, grouts, stucco, wall and ceiling plasters etc). For heavy construction, the company now sells scaffoldings and shoring jacks/props. Garot Trading carries plumbing accessories for the products we sell such as angle valves, flex hoses, bowl wax and more.

Garot Trading is located at 169 Constant Spring Road, Kingston 8 which is on the Electrical Depot Complex.

Tulloch says although the company is relatively new to the market, her team is grateful that with each opportunity to serve a customer, they are growing and learning.

She points out, “Because we are small, I want our customer service to stand out and the quality of what we sell to be paramount.”

“We went out and we listened to what customers have asked us for,” Tulloch notes. “We’re bringing in luxury stones which includes Quartzite, Dolomite and Super Exotic Granite.

Our customer service mandate is to deliver high quality service and products to all customers.

This pandemic has brought much uncertainty both locally and globally but even in harsh times, Garot Trading is continuing to play its part for the betterment of all Jamaicans. We try to assist in any way possible in areas that we can. We would like to take this medium to wish all Jamaicans to stay safe, sanitize and follow the protocols that the government has implemented.
