Transform any space ...

-

What you place/position inside your house can make the difference between whether you enjoy spending time there or not. No matter the size, location or style of the house, incorporating ‘personal style’ matters most. Follow these simple tips to transform your house into a home that’s the right fit for you.

Be Functional – If you love to cook, display your cooking utensils for all to see. Use your pots, pans and cooking forks and spoons to add texture and perspective to your living and cooking areas.

Add Personality – Expensive décor and clean furniture is ok but you want to live in a space that speaks to you. Give each room personality with a different colour palette. Add colour by painting the walls or adding bold furnishings. Each room’s colour palette should reflect its functionality.

Add Colour/warmth – It is widely known throughout the world that colours invoke feelings. Get in touch with your personal feelings by selecting colours that brings across a particular feeling you want for a particular room or space in your house. For example, if you want to relax and have a peace of mind paint your dedicated space with tints/shades of blue, yellow, green etc.

Be Creative – Use what is a in the environment around you to make a statement. If you live around a wooden environ, aspects of the trees and stones could be used as décor if your willing to put in some work. Just add some paint and these could be placed in and around your home. Sticks could be placed on walls and painted and stones in jars. These add vibrancy.

Use up Empty Space/walls - A collection of picture frames can make a room feel cluttered. Instead, display family photos, kids’ artwork and memorabilia etc.
