CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE FROM JCC PRESIDENT ON 56TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE MANCHESTER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
On behalf of the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce (JCC) I am very pleased to extend our warm congratulations to the Executive and Membership of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce (MCOC) as you celebrate your 56th anniversary.
We appreciate that this has been no easy achievement, as the MCOC has had to display to its stakeholders that its commitment to being a body that “promotes and facilitates entrepreneurship through the development and growth of businesses, while improving the quality of life in the parish” constitute more than just words. Its longevity speaks to the extent to which those stakeholders over several generations have determined that they were deriving value from the organization. By its engagement with its membership, its comprehensive menu of services, and its engagement with the wider society under a succession of dedicated leaders on its board and executive, the Manchester Chamber of Commerce has contributed enormously to creating a template worthy of emulation by business associations islandwide.
Now, more than ever, such a template is required if our nation is to make the transition to becoming a more prosperous and sustainable society and economy. It is therefore fitting that the Manchester Chamber of Commerce is one of the stalwarts of the re-vitalized Allisland Chambers of Commerce, which network is driven to share, learn from and adapt best practices for businesses throughout the entire country.
The JCC values its strong partnership with the Manchester Chamber of Commerce, and looks forward to celebrating with you, many more years of mutually rewarding friendship.
