450 looks to Lonely
UP-AND-COMING deejay 450 is confident his hard work will pay off.
“I’m 110 per cent sure I’ll be successful as long as I keep working. I get nothing but love for my music and it is not music I have to force people to listen to, people naturally gravitate towards it and me as a person, so [I’m] just giving it time,” the artiste, whose given name is Tristen Escoffery, told the
Jamaica Observer.
He is currently promoting Lonely, released on February 14, and produced by Tru Ambassador Next Generation.
“The inspiration behind Lonely was based on personal experiences, along with all of my songs which are directed towards the ladies. The beat being as powerful as it is also brought nostalgia and emotions inside and they were brought to life after vibing to it in the studio,” 450 explained.
The Lennon High School past student said he recognised his calling from adolescent years.
“I realised my passion for music at around age 15. When imaging myself in the future, I always saw myself touring and making music, so from that point on I knew it was what I wanted to do,” he said.
Unlike other artistes, the industry has not been hard to conquer, according to 450.
“I have never seen music as difficult, because I naturally have a love for it, and my team Syndicate and fans are very supportive. So I am never short of motivation,” he told the Observer.
The deejay is known for other songs like
Highway, Size Ten, Beast Mode and Money. He believes he has unique characteristics that make him stand out in the music industry.
“I consider my style of music to be melodic, emotional and also unique when it comes to the style and sound. I always try to make my songs relatable and this one [Loney] is definitely relatable. I think every female can concur that they have felt lonely and in need of a significant other at some point in time,” 450 said.
