“Luigi Society” Brown has made a name for himself within the Portmore community as an event promoter, music producer, and philanthropist.
Portmore-based BIGPRINT, a company located within the Naggo Head area, has taken notice of Brown’s works and signed him as its official brand ambassador.
Speaking with the Jamaica observer, Brown expressed gratitude to the company for aligning itself with his brand.
“I am extremely excited especially to know that a company of this magnitude is interested to be affiliated with my brand. Printbig is a huge company in Jamaica and for the brand Luigi Society to be aligned with that is a great feat. As an event coordinator, it’s definitely a great partnership as they will support me on that journey,” Brown shared.
“The agreement is for one year and my role is basically to represent the company on a social media scale while engaging the company more with the current entertainment sector, and also in assisting with the execution of internal and external events for the company,” Brown disclosed.
Wayne Fagan is the CEO of Printbig.
“With Luigi being a brand ambassador for us is really just allowing him to continue along his path and knowing that he has another team behind him. We were always there supporting him, but now we are supporting him in a bigger way. The full force of the business and the brand will be there behind him to support. We don’t expect anything different from him,” said Fagan.
“About 10 years ago, Luigi – being a Portmore resident – decided to take on a path that was a little different from everybody else at the time. His peers were thinking different things. But with the resources that had been available, he headed on a path with big things in mind. He has been able to maintain and keep relationships and remain grounded doing big things. We are from Portmore and we’re able to grow and do things differently. He also has an international reach and he’s able to provide an experience with all that it is that he’s doing. Printbig operates the business the same way,” Fagan continued.
Printbig has been in existence for 12 years.
“We are in the business of assisting people to grow their own business. We offer growth and maximisation through visual communications by keeping our branding solutions creative and personalised. From small scale prints on paper to large scale prints like signs, banners and billboards, we are able to effectively design, fabricate and install branding solutions tailored to suit the needs of our clients,” said Fagan.
Luigi Society is known as the force behind the promotion of events including Hennessey V, Image, Cross Di Wataz, Daybreak and Allure. He also gives back to the less fortunate each Christmas by donating clothing and food to several charities.
On the music side, his Luigi Society label has produced for a number of acts including Munga Honorable, Tatik, Kalibwoy, Demarco, Renigad, and newcomer Lavisch.
