icreate Limited was the best-performing stock in April as it rose by 265 per cent from $0.85 to $3.10. Jetcon Corporatio­n Limited, Fosrich Company Limited, Mayberry Jamaican Equities Limited, Everything Fresh Limited, 1834 Investment­s Limited, Supreme Ventures Limited, and Main Event Entertainm­ent Group Limited were the other best-performing stocks in April.

Dolphin Cove Limited was the worst-performing stock in April as it declined by 19 per cent from $25.91 to $21.05. Edufocal Limited, ttech Limited, Mailpac Group Limited, JFP Limited, Sygnus Real Estate Finance Limtied (USD Shares), Eppley Limited, and Honey Bun (1982) Limited were the other worst-performing stocks in April.

Fosrich, Tropical Battery Company Limited, Main Event, Future Energy Source Company Limited, SSL Venture Capital Limited, and Everything Fresh are the other best-performing stocks in 2022. ISP Finance Services Limited is the worst-performing stock in 2022 as it remains down 22 per cent at $29.49. ttech, The Limners and Bards Limited, Mailpac, Palace Amusement (1921) Company Limited, Berger Paints (Jamaica) Limited, Ciboney Group Limited, and Barita Investment­s Limited are the other worst-performing stocks in 2022.

A connected party of Mayberry Jamaican Equities Limited purchased 105,454 shares on May 5. The trustee of the Sagicor Life Jamaica (SLJ) Employee Trustee Share Purchase plan sold 3,500 shares of Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited (SJ) on May 4 to eligible team members. The trustee of Sagicor’s longterm incentive plan sold 57,773 SJ shares on May 3 to an executive who exercised their stock options. A connected party of Future Energy Source Company Limited sold 19 million shares at $6.05 for a considerat­ion of $114.95 million on May 2 as part of an incentive plan to service station dealers and employees. A connected party of Supreme Ventures Limited purchased 3,000 units while a related entity purchased 916,666 for a considerat­ion of $26.99 million between May 2 to 4. Eppley Limited Caribbean Property Fund – Value Fund purchased 7,894 shares between April 25 to 29 under its share buyback programme. A connected party of icreate Limited purchased 47,156 shares on May 4. A connected person of Kingston Wharves Limited sold 5,399,747 shares at $34.01 for a considerat­ion of $183.65 million on May 2.

Shena Stubbs-gibson has resigned as the company secretary and senior legal officer of Radio Jamaica Limited and its various subsidiari­es effective April 30.

Geoffrey Romans has been appointed as head, financial risk – frameworks and administra­tion at Barita Investment­s Limited effective May 2. Romans is the former regional director of market risk management at Scotiabank.

General Accident Insurance Company Limited’s 2021 audited financials have been further delayed to May 20.

Massy Holdings Limited has declared a dividend of TT$0.03 or J$0.67 to be paid on June 15 to shareholde­rs on record as of June 1.

The Jamaica Public Service Company Limited (JPS) has declared dividends on its preference shares with $0.035 to be paid on the seven per cent Class B shares, $0.025 on the five per cent Class C and D shares and $0.030 to be paid on the six per cent Class E shares. All will be paid on July 1 to shareholde­rs on record as of June 15.

Gracekenne­dy Limited will consider a dividend payment tomorrow at its board meeting. Eppley Limited and Honey Bun (1982) Limited will consider dividend payments on May 13 and 16, respective­ly.
