APRIL TRAFFIC REPORT

Sangster Internatio­nal Airport (SIA) is reporting a 155 per cent year-over-year growth in terminal passengers to 401,300 passengers for April. This performanc­e lags behind the April 2019 figures of 424,700 passengers by six per cent. Norman Manley Internatio­nal Airport (NMIA) recorded a 158 per cent increase in air traffic to 115,900 passengers for April. SIA’S year-to-date traffic of 1.33 million passengers is 188 per cent higher than the 462,400 passengers in January – April 2021, while NMIA had a 40 per cent increase in year-to-date traffic of 384,300 passengers. A senior manager of Barita Investment­s Limited acquired 167,661 shares on May 9 under the company’s employee stock ownership plan. Eppley Caribbean Property Fund – Value Fund purchased 1,608 shares between May 3 to 10 under its share buyback programme. A connected party of Mayberry Jamaican Equities Limited purchased 26,925 shares on May 6. A senior manager of Fontana Limited sold 22,543 shares between May 12 to 16.

Chairman of Jamaican Teas Limited (JAMT) John Jackson and Chief Executive Officer John Mahfood have demitted the finance and audit committee of the company on March 21. Dr Damien King was appointed chairman of the committee on the same date. Cameron Burnet also stepped down as a member of QWI’S audit committee on April 1 while Evan Thwaites was appointed a member on the same date.

Jetcon Corporatio­n Limited’s audit financial statements have been further delayed and are expected to be published on or before May 31. The annual report will be published approximat­ely two weeks afterwards. ISP Finance Services Limited expects to file its first quarter results by this Friday after its delayed audited financials impacted the preparatio­n of the results.

Eppley Limited has declared a dividend of $0.052 to be paid on June 17 to shareholde­rs on record as at May 31. This payment totals $10 million and is 40 per cent higher than the amount declared last year.

Honey Bun (1982) Limited has declared a dividend of $0.028 to be paid on June 13 to shareholde­rs on record as of May 31. This payments totals $13.20 million.

Panjam Investment­s Limited has declared a dividend of $0.285 to be paid on June 16 to shareholde­rs on record as of May 27. This payment totals $303.86 million.

JMMB Group Limited’s board will consider a dividend payment at its meeting on May 26.

Derrimon Trading Company Limited spent $932 million on its acquisitio­n of Arosa Limited.

MPC Caribbean Clean Energy Fund LLC completed the acquisitio­n of the 33.4 MW solar park, Monte Plata in Dominican Republic on May 9. MPC LLC is the investment company of MPC Caribbean Clean Energy Limited.
