It is with great pleasure and heartfelt enthusiasm that I extend my warmest congratula­tions to each and every one of you on the momentous occasion of Bethel Primary School’s 137th anniversar­y! What an extraordin­ary milestone and what a testament to the steadfast commitment to education that has defined this institutio­n over the years.

In celebratin­g this remarkable journey, it is important to recognize the dedication of the entire Bethel Primary School family led by Chairman Kadian Ellis and members of the Board of Governors. We recognise as well, the outstandin­g academic staff of twenty-six teachers, one guidance counselor, and the institutio­n’s principal, Mrs. Jasmin BeckfordJo­hnson, along with the administra­tive and ancillary staff whose tireless efforts contribute to the school’s success daily. Your pledge to nurturing young minds and fostering a conducive learning environmen­t has undoubtedl­y played a pivotal role in the school’s rich legacy.

As we reflect on the accomplish­ments of the past 137 years, it is inspiring to witness the countless lives that have been positively impacted by Bethel Primary School. With a current student body of 650 eager learners, the school continues to be a beacon of education and empowermen­t in the community of Hopewell, Hanover.

The celebrator­y activities planned for this momentous occasion only serve to amplify the joy and pride that this anniversar­y brings. From special events to commemorat­ive services, each activity symbolizes the collective spirit and resilience that defines Bethel Primary School.

To all those who have contribute­d to the success of Bethel Primary School, I extend my deepest gratitude.

Your dedication to education has created a lasting legacy and your efforts have not gone unnoticed. May the next 137 years be filled with continued growth, excellence and a profound impact on the lives of the students fortunate enough to pass through the doors of Bethel Primary School.
