Message from The Regional Director, Ministry of Education, Region 4 , Dr Michele Williams

-

The Ministry of Education and Youth, Region IV, is delighted to congratulate the Bethel Primary School family, for taking the hands of all our students, opening their minds and touching their hearts since its establishment in 1886. We commend visionaries of the Bethel Society of the Montego Bay Circuit of Methodist Churches who 138 years ago decided to build this institution on the scenic and historic Round Hill Estate in Hanover. This magnificent institution overlooking the Caribbean Sea has certainly positively impacted the lives of many students and their families. Special commendation to our dedicated stakeholders who have served as chairpersons, and members of the Board of Management. To all our past principals and staff members, we say thanks for remaining committed to creating learning experiences that awaken joy in learning and allow students to maximize their potential. We express gratitude to our current Chairman Mrs. Kadian Mcneil-ellis and members of the Board of Management. To our zealous and visionary principal Mrs. Jasmin Beckford-johnson and all her hard-working members of the academic, administrative and ancillary staff we say thanks for your committed service to ensuring that all students have access to quality education that is geared towards maximizing their potential.

The many awards, successful initiatives and fruitful partnerships at Bethel Primary School stand as evidence of the fact that Bethel Primary subscribes to the holistic development of its learners.

It is our prayer that God’s blessings will continue to shine upon Bethel Primary School as it continues to prepare our Nation’s children for not only today but for their Future.
