ENID CUNNINGHAM WILL BE 102 IN JULY
Enid Cunningham born July 2, 1922 will celebrate her one one hundredth and two birthday on July 2, 2024. She had celebrated her centenarian in 2022 at her grandson’s place Soldier Camp with family and friends as they celebrated the centenarian. Enid was very appreciative of her grandchildren and family for their support at her one hundredth. “The things that I have is because of the grandchildren that I have; they look out for their grandmother; God bless them and keep them and fight for them and that they have long life. I thank you all” she said smiling.
Her grandson Donald Sutherland said “You are special to me grandma because you have one daughter that is my mother. Love you mamma. The pudding and run dung you made sure that I get when I come to Jamaica grandma” he stated. Everold Daley grandson who hosted the celebration said “Well grandma, blessings. From I was six months you take me and said ‘me ready and look just like you’. You take me and care for me and everybody. I love you. All when you don’t have anywhere to put us some sleep a floor and where every as you never turn back anybody. God bless you fi dat. From wi know you you a go a church a Waltham Park and people a say ‘mind dem hold you up and tek you away; you ever a bring mi wid you. We love u.. di whole a wi love u grand, great grand, great, great grand; nieces nephews love you. We wish you health and strength and long life in Jesus name” he said as he planted a kiss on her cheek to numerous cheers. Miss Enid still attends the New Testament Church of God in Port Antonio and helps herself around the house.
