Ini Kamoze’s Here Comes the Hotstepper revisits Billboard

Sly and Robbie, has re-entered the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.

The 12-track set, which features the Billboard Hot

100 #1 single and Recording Industry Association of America (Riaa)-certified platinum single of the same name, is #10 on this week’s reggae chart.

spent three weeks at #1 in 1995. Aside from the title track, the album contains re-recording of tracks that were featured on Ini Kamoze’s first four studio albums.

Musicians Robbie Lyn, Dean Fraser, Richard Dunn, and Willie Lindo also contributed to the album, which peaked at #71 in Germany.

Still on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, Bob Marley and the Wailers continue to dominate the #1 spot, as Legend clocks 227 non-consecutive weeks atop the chart.

Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection by Shaggy inches up to #2,

World on Fire by Stick Figure rebounds to #3, and Dutty Classics Collection by Sean Paul backtracks to #4.

Set in Stone by Stick Figure remains at #5, Dutty Rock by Sean Paul is back at #6, and Wisdom by Stick Figure parachutes down to #7.

UB45 by British reggae outfit UB40 slips to #8 and Sublime With Rome, the self-titled effort by the American act, debuts at #9. It’s the group’s fourth album and the first to make it onto the reggae chart

Jump by Tyla featuring American rapper Gunna and Jamaican dancehall artiste Skillibeng remains at #3 on the US Afrobeats Songs chart. The song moves up from #9 to #8 on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart, while over on Rhythmic Top 40 Airplay it debuts at #38.

Trinidadian gospel and reggae artiste Sherwin Gardner rebounds on the US Afrobeats Songs chart, as Find Me Here (Blessings Find Me) lifts from #50 to #46 in its 17th week on the chart. It got as far as #18.

Santa by producer Rvssian featuring Rauw Alejandro and Ayra Starr has lost some steam. On Billboard’s Global 200 chart it slips from #25 to #25, while on Global Excluding US 200 chart backtracks from #16 to #17.

Over on Hot Latin Songs,

Santa brings the presents at #12, while losing steam on Latin Streaming Songs, moving down from #6 to #8.

Honey Boy by German house music producer Purple Disco Machine and Benjamin Ingrosso, featuring Shenseea and Grammy-winning musician and co-founder of legendary disco outfit Chic, Nile Rodgers, entered at #2 on last week’s Sweden Top 100 Singles chart (not an official Billboard chart, as is being reported in some sections of social media). The chart, which is posted in the Hits of the World section of Billboard’s website, reflects the biggest songs each week in Sweden.

Honey Boy falls to #3 on this week’s tally.

YG Marley’s Praise Jah in the Moonlight, which is now certified gold in France, continues its upward trajectory on Billboard’s R&B charts. It lifts 30-25 on the R&B/ Hip-hop Airplay chart, while bouncing from #20 to #18 on Mainstream R&b/hip-hop Airplay.
