Portmore Society promises high energy this Sunday
THE PORTMORE Society is gearing up to host this year’s staging of their IMAGE party on Sunday at The Palms, Gyscombe Gym roof, 107A Constant Spring Road. According to society member Luigi, the event will embody high energy and sophistication.
“We are delivering a wellmarketed and executed event, as patrons are accustomed to from Portmore Society. It will have high energy, beautiful people, sophistication, great ambience, high-end bottle service and premium vodka cocktails from the recently launched Rum Bar Vodka line,” he said.
“A world-class musical juggling is guaranteed from some of Jamaica’s finest. We have identified that partygoers not only enjoy partying, but also
looking good while doing so, and in accordance with its theme, Paparazzi, we have employed numerous photographers to ensure all moments are captured. We have our patrons covered,” Luigi said.
Portmore Society, which also hosts popular events such as Jet Life, VIV Fridays and Hennessy V, enjoys a loyal clientele. IMAGE was last hosted on the beach in Portmore in 2013. Now, Luigi believes the change of venue will make life easier for partygoers.
“This venue is aesthetically friendly and fits this event, IMAGE. It’s also easily accessible to partygoers who may have to resort to public transportation. We try to take all our patrons into consideration,” he said.
ONGOING PROMOTION
The promoter also spoke about the ongoing promotion, which he describes as excellent. “Our social media promo, which includes our Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp and BBM campaigns, are on point. We have to make special mention of Kritik from Kaoarts for providing us with the artwork,” Luigi said.
“We have been doing continuous street promotions at most events, and radio ads are in rotation on Zip FM. It’s set to be an unforgettable event; the buzz is high and all the pieces are in place to ensure that it’s a success. It’s a premium mixeddrinks-inclusive event with an economically friendly admission,” Luigi added.
Patrons can also look forward to IMAGE incentives. “We will be giving away thousands of dollars of credit via our promotional BBM PIN, 27F31EEA. A Blu Life Play Android phone will also be given to a pre-sold ticket holder courtesy of one of our sponsors, Digicel. We will also have a new water available courtesy of another sponsor, Crystal Glacier Water,” he disclosed.
Presold tickets are $1,000 and the gate cost is $1,500. Flava Unit Sound, Chromatic, Flabba Dabba and Infuzion Sound are all booked to deliver the musical package.
