In the last two years, the BPIAJ has realised significan­t achievemen­ts including an award of US$500k in grant funding from Compete Caribbean via the Inter-American Developmen­t Bank in order to develop a call centre incubator, marketing, establishm­ent of Spanish and middle management i nternation­al based training, and security services in order to protect the integrity of the sector.

In sync with the direction of his president, Fazio, said Columbus’ goal is to ensure that all companies doing business in Jamaica have access to the latest technologi­es as well as the best support possible, “which will have new companies wanting to stay and existing companies wanting to expand.”

The returning board members include, first vice president, Leroy Reid, country manager, Xerox Commercial Solutions, general treasurer, Mark Kerr Jarrett, managing director and John Spence, chief operations officer/director of ADS-Global.
