Hostility in JLP, PNP healthy

-

THE EDITOR, Sir: I’M HERE to save the day for people who are of the belief that being voiceless and timid, in just about any and every relationship in their lives, is worthy of a gold star or a pat on the back. There are unknown dangers that are often derived from the act of failing to confront differences in opinion.

It may sound counterintuitive, but an avoidance of tension will shorten our lifespan by compromising the cortisol levels in our body, birthing erratic stress levels, provoking i ncreases i n blood sugar, and, by extension, appropriating a rise to immune system susceptibility, which equals strength suppression.

With that said, it’s simply radical to expect an absence of bellicosity within the two major political parties and to unjustly demonise those who zealously exhibit competitiveness, especially when such an impassioned vying spirit positively abets democracy. It’s important to note, however, that there are right and wrong ways to combat, which calls for a full understanding in this regard to promote grace and prohibit disgrace.

I may be assuming here, but our representatives are fully aware of the consequences associated with the choosing of sides and/or formally going to war, so let’s encourage the challenges but make a strong call for fairness, suitability of timing, and forgiveness.
