TeamREACH pushing to make a difference one soul at a time
WHAT BEGAN as a vision from God soon developed into an initiative that has led to the deliverance and healing of many souls in Christ.
According to Jowayne Francis, one of the heads of the project, REACH Ministries is a group of young people who are passionate about living a life of servitude to God by walking in His will and purpose for their lives.
Also referred to as TeamREACH, there are 20 people in the group who Francis says were all divinely selected.
He told Family & Religion that the organisation serves both evangelical and charitable purposes.
“Our main focus is stated in our acronym (REACH), which means Reaching and Empowering a Christlike Heart. It was our intention for it (the ministry) to be a foundation, but while seeking God about what we should do, He changed the vision to a ministry,” Francis shared.
DELIVERED
The five-year-old non-profit organisation was established in and operates from St Thomas and has so far hosted three conferences under the theme ‘Divine Outpour’.
Francis was pleased to reveal that
testimonies coming out of the conferences include those of souls that were saved and empowered, those that were delivered from oppressing spirits and sicknesses that were healed.
The man of God also added that there were testimonies of prophetic words delivered throughout the conferences.
“Several ministries have invited us to be in charge of prayer, fasting, and counselling. We’ve
also incorporated with the Kimola BrownLowe’s Ministries, where we will be doing counselling, prayer, prayer and charitable
deeds for the Yadel Girls Home,” Francis said, pointing out that the organisation will embark on its own philanthropic ventures.
TeamREACH is expected to start a feeding programme come next week at the Saunders Basic School in Morant Bay, where it will be providing breakfast for the students there.
