Student sex orgy on JUTC bus

THE EDITOR, Sir: I WITNESSED on Friday, December 2, 2016 what I never thought I would come to see. The students of Jamaica College (JC) and Ardenne have dryhump sexual orgies at the back of Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) buses, involving kisses all over the lips and neck, and the fondling of each other’s sexual organs while sitting in each other’s laps.

Nowadays I see students sitting in each other’s laps – whether Calabar or Merl Grove or Ardenne, as well as several other high schools – kissing and massaging genitals, but what I saw last Friday evening, having boarded the route 3A bus (HalfWay Tree to Portmore) approximately 6 o’clock, was far more terrible. The incident was witnessed by students attending Ardenne and other schools, as well as adults.

First, there was a big bang, as students hit the ceiling of the bus and tampered with the light fixtures and wiring. A gentleman beside me shouted at them to stop doing it, and tried to videotape what they were doing. One student shouted to the man that he was not authorised to videotape him or any of them.

A JC boy was having a dryhump orgy with a girl who might have been from Ardenne. This boy could not help himself. He was so turned on, he couldn’t help himself. It was as if he was about to ejaculate amid a full audience right there on the bus.

It was a horrid and unbelievable situation that adults could be calling to the children in the bus, and no child was shamed into stopping their misbehaviour. They eventually put back the light, which kept on flickering. The students also carried their own flashing disco lights in the back of the bus, with music on their phones.

What is even more sad is that we seem to be back to the 1970s with a grave shortage of buses and long hours for children at bus stops. One Ardenne girl said she was waiting from 3 p.m. to get a bus, and thanked God it was 6:28 p.m., which meant she would reach home before 7 p.m.

We need to protect our chil- dren from abuse and sexually inappropriate conduct on our buses, and to protect the country’s buses from vandalism by students.
