Bikram yoga is for everybody

-

BIKRAM YOGA Jamaica opened in May 2014 and is the first and only studio of its kind in the Caribbean. Bikram yoga, also known as ‘hot yoga’, is a specific yoga type developed by Bikram Choudhury. Classes are held in a hot, humid room allowing one to safely work deep into muscles, tendons and ligaments, while releasing toxins and congestion within your body. The room is heated to 105 degrees at 40 per cent humidity and classes are 90 minutes long. The practice is done with your eyes open and there is no chanting.
