All in the family
AT ISLANDSMILES, our patients are part of our family and we jump at any chance to show them some much-deserved love. Our patients have joined us for movie day at the Palace Cinemas in Kingston and Montego Bay. For the ‘big’ kids and little kids, there’s an ice cream-filled Patient Appreciation Day, with Kremi novelties, where everyone gets a free ice cream and cookie or cupcake of their choice.
Every year, we host our annual Christmas card and calendar design competitions. Patients can win the honour of having their designs selected as the official company Christmas greeting card and calendar, and for those with a design in the running, there are still a ton of prizes to win in the true spirit of the season. We also spread good tidings to our fellow dentistry professionals who have provided support throughout the year by delivering annual Christmas lunches and goody baskets.
In our monthly Islandsmiles newsletter, we never miss an opportunity to celebrate our patients’ accomplishments,
whether on stage, in the sporting arena, at the workplace, and as scholars, musicians, scientists, even when they step out looking dapper on the society pages.
Our family love has and always extend to the greater community, where we value our philanthropic commitment to various local organisations. We support the Jamaica Musical Theatre Company as a sponsor, conduct presentations and school tours of our practice and, in collaboration with Wisynco, support the Mona Preparatory School’s annual sports day by providing WATA for their athletes and coaches.
