But for the grace of God ...

-

THIS YEAR marks Island Radiology Mandeville’s 10th year operating in Manchester. Island Radiology has been serving persons in southern regional area encompassing the parishes of Manchester, St Elizabeth, parts of Clarendon, Trelawny and Westmoreland.

On behalf of the shareholders, board of directors and staff, we are first of all giving thanks to the Almighty God for bringing us to this milestone and, with his guidance, to achieve further success.

The shareholders and board of directors are also extending thanks and sincere gratitude for a wonderful staff complement and team of radiologists. We would not be where we are without everyone’s combined efforts.

In recognition of our milestone, we wish to use this medium and others to share that we aim to: 1. Embrace the digital age by becoming completely digitised and, within a few weeks, to introduce digital mammography. 2. We have already deployed your digital RIS that allows referring physicians access to their patients’ studies and reports in close to real time. 3. We have introduced bone

densitometry. 4. Before the end of the year, we will be introducing our newest modality – nuclear imaging technology.

We would not have been able to do this and to get this far without the grace of God and the support and goodwill from the citizens of the southern region. You embraced us, welcomed us and trusted us with your imaging needs. A heartfelt ‘thank you’.

We also firmly believe in giving back as we have over the years, and will continue to do. At our awards dinner held in July, we announced the establishment of two scholarships at the secondary and tertiary levels. This is in addition to the various community outreach projects we undertake every year.

We ask that the Almighty continue to guide us and protect us, as we strive as a company to play our part in building not only Manchester, but our nation. Thank you. DR ANN FENNA Consultant Radiologist Managing Director Island Radiology Mandeville
