OLIVIA LEIGH CAMPBELL

OLIVIA LEIGH Campbell is manager, strategic initiatives for Sutherland Global Services, one of the fastest-growing business process companies operating in Jamaica. In her current role, Olivia is responsible for piloting initiatives to drive the company’s growth and expansion to 10,000 professionals in Jamaica, as well as with managing stakeholder relationships locally.
Specifically, Olivia is responsible for developing and executing Sutherland’s education and training initiatives in Jamaica, including the Sutherland University Model and its Education for Employment programmes.
A journalist by profession, Olivia has worked at media houses in Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago, and continues to be a contributor to publications, including MACO Caribbean Living and Sandals Style. Prior to joining Sutherland, Olivia was a communication specialist at the Ministry of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining. She holds a BA in history, anthropology and africana studies from Franklin and Marshall College, where she was a John Kryder Evans Scholar.
Olivia currently serves as a director of the Business Process Industry Association of Jamaica, sits on the National BPO Oversight Committee, and is a director of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce, where she is responsible for government relations and for the administration of the Manchester Police Motor Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Fund.
