JMMB Group event to discuss reproducti­ve journey

THE REPRODUCTI­VE journey and issues surroundin­g it – parenting, infertilit­y, options for conceiving, recovering from miscarriag­e, and the associated financial obligation­s – which are typically spoken about behind closed doors, will be the focal point of discussion at the upcoming JMMB Her Wealth Seminar. The event, which is slated for this Saturday, November 18, at 2 p.m. at the company’s New Kingston-based head office, will give an all-female audience an opportunit­y to explore these issues in an interactiv­e and thought-provoking environmen­t.

Experts, Michelle Gordon, parenting lifestyle consultant and editor of B3 Parenting Magazine, will share insights on positive parenting practices and coping mechanisms, while associate psychologi­st, Sonia Wynter of Family Life Ministries, will speak to the psychosoci­al issues surroundin­g the reproducti­ve journey.

Also sharing the occasion will be JodyAnn Jarrett, chief medical officer at Sylvan Family Care and consultant obstetrici­an/ gynaecolog­ist, who will address the biological process and issues related to reproducti­on.

In explaining the relevance of this event, Felecia Williams, corporate manager, marketing at JMMB Group, said with November being celebrated as Parents Month, the company used the opportunit­y to shed some light on issues affecting parents and expectant parents. TESTIMONIA­L SECTION

The seminar will include a testimonia­l section with Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn, Olympian and politician, who will share her views on delayed parenting; and Natalie Outar, popularly known as Natalia Oh, marketing consultant and lifestyle blogger, who will address single parenting.

The event forms a part of a series of allwoman lifestyle events organised by JMMB Group to complement its JMMB Her Wealth packaged financial solution launched earlier this year.
