NCB gives customers enhanced Lovebird KeyCard

FROM JAMAICA to New York, Miami to Toronto, Lisbon to Dubai, Lovebird KeyCard customers can now sate their thirst for the sights and sounds of the world with travel points that take them anywhere, on any airline, any time of year.

Responding to changing customer needs, NCB recently revamped its Lovebird KeyCard product with enhanced features to deliver greater flexibilit­y, ease, and convenienc­e.

NCB Lovebird KeyCard made its debut in 1995 as the first ever Jamaican credit card with travel rewards, and today, 22 years later, it is among the most widely accepted credit cards across the island, with acceptance by more than 9,000 merchants.

“We wanted our customers to access their rewards faster and simpler; hence a hassle-free online redemption process is a key feature of the enhanced Lovebird KeyCard,” said Michelle Thomas, product and portfolio manager in the Card Issuing Unit.

“At NCB, our philosophy is to connect with our customers and evolve with them as they grow, so we are always listening to their feedback and devising ways to optimise our products to best suit their needs,” explained Claudette Rodriquez, NCB assistant general manager in the Payment Services Division.

“This is something that is really important to our customers —the ability to redeem points to travel anywhere in the world, on any airline. In solving that, we have created what we believe is a superior offering that will provide everyday value to our customers,” Rodriquez said.

To accompany the launch of the new Lovebird KeyCard campaign, NCB will introduce a newly-designed card, sleek, modern, and contempora­ry, to reflect the essence of what will be dubbed ‘Jamaica’s #1 travel card’.

Number one not only because of its features, but also because it is the only card of its kind that supports local merchants and contribute­s a percentage of every purchase made with the card to fund education initiative­s.

The new card features come as a complement to the Lovebird Keycard’s already rich cache of features that includes allowing new customers to earn 3,000 bonus points on their first purchase. Customers who sign up during this launch period additional­ly have the opportunit­y to earn an extra 3,000 bonus points until January 31, 2018.

Other features of the NCB Lovebird KeyCard include an open-ended invitation to get to your next destinatio­n faster with the ability to top up points, and the ability to share the freedom of worldwide travel with family and friends.
