The perfect school for your little one

-

ING’S GATE Prep School is conveniently located at 16 Hillcrest Avenue, off Hope Road (near the Bob Marley Museum) in Kingston. It was established in September 1970 by Irelene Laird.

The school’s switchboard operates between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., and you can call any time between these hours.

The school operates two departments:

1. The early childhood depart- ment for children ages 18 months to five years.

2. The primary department for children ages six to 12 years. Both departments are registered with the Ministry of Education and are guided by its curriculum.

All our teachers are trained and qualified. The early childhood department operates from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. In this department, we assist with potty training your little ones. They also participate in music, Spanish, computer classes, sign language, and art and craft at no extra cost. • 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. – Regular

school

• 2 p.m.-6 p.m. – After-school care

After 3:30 p.m., contact with the after-school care can be made by calling 283-3304.

Our primary department has always been proud of its GSAT placements. For the past 10 years, we have maintained a 95 per cent placement in traditional high schools.

Our teachers are at work by 7:30 a.m., and the school begins every morning with devotions at 8 a.m. We are not affiliated with any church or religious group, but we embrace the Christian faith and teachings.
