IMMANUEL SUCCESS Preparatory and Kindergarten (formerly Denis Tobin Preparatory) is an independent coeducational school. It is built on strong Christian principles. Immanuel Success Preparatory and Kindergarten strives to create a community of happy learners with sound moral values in a clean, safe, stimulating and orderly environment. Our goal is to provide quality teaching so that our students may develop spiritually, academically, physically, emotionally and socially, thus fulfilling their God-given talents to become worthwhile citizens. Our goal is to employ the Ministry of Education Priority Policies and quality timely instruction from kindergarten to preparatory.
Our objectives are:
To cater for individual needs in order to develop full competencies in reading, writing, speaking, listening and numeracy.
To prepare candidates adequately for national examinations
To provide motivation in order to spark interest in learning
To build positive attitudes/selfesteem through modelling
To engage students in extracurricular activities and internal and external competitions.
To provide opportunities for meaningful outdoor games
CURRICULUM
The school uses the Ministry of Education Curriculum from kindergarten to grade six, along with additional comprehensive programmes such as music, Spanish, computer, reading intervention, character education and physical education.
EXTRA ACTIVITIES
Extra-curricular activities are done in the school’s timetable. However, depending on the number of external competitions, some activities could continue until after school. Activities are as follows: Golf, 4-H, Environmental, Sports and Culture (JCDC) competitions, Homemakers, Spelling, Literary & Debate and Kiddies.
NATIONAL EXAMS
We have consistently attained excellent passes in national exams, surpassing the national standards set by the Ministry of Education.
