MC Systems rolls out fraud detection tech solution

MC SYSTEMS, the technology member company of The Jamaica National Group, has rolled out a payroll audit technology solution, that can detect areas of fraud and abuse in a company or organisati­on and flag it immediatel­y.

Dodgry Newell, commercial manager at MC Systems, made the disclosure about t he benefits of the tech solution at the MC Systems Jamaica Payroll Conference, held recently under the theme ‘Payroll Decoded: Simplifyin­g the Latest Payroll Techno - logies’ at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, New Kingston, on March 6.

Newell said that the solution, called Payroll Audit Made Easy, i s powered by Audit Command Language techno-logy. The investor is able to improve the ability to identify, analyse, and remediate anomalies associated with carrying out payroll audits.

“With this solution, the following can to be achieved: a reduction in payroll costs by identifyin­g and eliminatin­g errors and abuses, enhanced reputation and confidence in controls, as well as an improvemen­t in transparen­cy and reliance on data,” he said.

The MC Systems commercial manager said that five high security Government ministries have started using the solution.

The MC Systems Jamaica Payroll Conference was organised by MC Systems in collaborat­ion with the Tax Administra­tion of Jamaica.
