JSE MARKET SUMMARY

In Thursday’s trading session the following reflect the movement of the JSE Indices:

• The JSE Combined Index advanced by 755.85 points (0.24%) to close at 318,023.24.

• The JSE Index advanced by 888.99 points (0.29%) to close at 309,639.79.

• The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index advanced by 975.72 points (0.29%) to close at 339,847.87.

• The JSE Select Index advanced by 12.00 points (0.13%) to close at 9,268.68.

• The Junior Market Index declined by 5.48 points (0.18%) to close at 3,054.90.

• The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 0.26 points (0.17 %) to close at 152.15.

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 50 stocks of which 24 advanced, 20 declined and six traded firm.

Market volume amounted to 10,861,144 units valued at over $86,010,993.49. Honey Bun (1982) Limited was the volume leader with 6,006,556 units (55.30%) followed by Medical Disposables & Supplies Limited with 3,353,631 units (30.88%) and NCB Financial Group Limited with 222,567 units (2.05%).
