Two from two for Tallawahs

THE JAMAICA Tallawahs made it two from two in the 2018 Caribbean Premier League following a thrilling six-wicket win over the St Lucia Stars at Sabina Park last night.

Final scores: St Lucia Stars 175 all out in 20 overs; Jamaica Tallawahs 176 for 4 in 19.4 overs.

The stars of the Tallawahs innings were wicketkeeper-batsman Glenn Phillips and all-rounder Rovman Powell. Phillips slammed 58 from just 40 balls with six sixes and two fours. Powell was unbeaten on 43 from 23 balls. He hit two fours and four sixes.

Earlier Adam Zampa and Oshane Thomas took three wickets each to restrict the visitors. Andre Fletcher topscored with 43 (5x4, 2x6).
