JSE MARKET SUMMARY

In Thursday’s trading session, the following reflect the movement of the JSE Indices:

• The JSE Combined Index advanced by 4,013.03 points (1.23%) to close at 327,310.32.

• The JSE Index advanced by 3,917.07 points (1.25%) to close at 318,013.77.

• The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index advanced by 4,299.21 points (1.25%) to close at 349,038.81.

• The JSE Select Index advanced by 53.18 points (0.57%) to close at 9,364.52.

• The Junior Market Index advanced by 37.74 points (1.10%) to close at 3,199.63.

• The JSE USD Equities Index closed at 159.36

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 52 stocks of which 34 advanced, 12 declined and six traded firm.

Market volume amounted to 29,930,673 units valued at over $434,660,438.35. Indies Pharma Jamaica Limited ordinary shares was the volume leader with 21,196,580 units (70.82%), followed by Kingston Wharves Limited with 4,005,328 units (13.38%) and NCB Financial Group Limited with 1,012,510 units (3.38%).
