NCB INSURANCE COMPANY Prepare now with Pro Care

-

PROSTATE CANCER, like any other cancer, can strike without warning, leaving you and your loved ones with extremely high medical bills to pay.

“The first rounds of treatment after a diagnosis can cost (you) $1,600,000, and that’s a conservative figure,” lamented Anntonette Cowan-Palmer, NCB Insurance Company sales manager.

Because of this, CowanPalmer and her team sought to increase the coverage provided by the NCB Insurance Company ProCare critical illness product. As a result, ProCare now offers customers up to $5,000,000 in protection coverage. The average Jamaican who is diagnosed with cancer is uninsured/underinsured and is unable to find the large sums of money needed for treatment. Because of this, many are forced to rely on donations or loans from friends and family.

“There are worse things than being diagnosed with a critical illness – like the indignity of having to beg friends and family for (money) because you are unable to afford (your treatments).” Cowan-Palmer added.

However, she noted that unlike other plans in the market, ProCare stands out with: $1,500 towards your second month’s premium
