Fit 4 Life Tuff Enuff challenger Gavin Francis puts some extra muscle into the farmers’ walk at The Gleaner's Fit 4 Life 11th event with Sweet Energy Fitness Club at Fit Farm Fitness Club, 2 Upper Braemar Avenue, St Andrew last Saturday.
THERE WAS nothing sweet about the energetic boot camp Sweet Energy Fitness Club hosted on Saturday morning at the Fit Farm Fitness Club, 2 Upper Braemar Avenue in St Andrew.
Boot camp drill sergeant Robert ‘Astro’ Whyte, Anthony Kepple, MC Sheena-Kaye and the Sweet Energy team took participants through four intense circuits – aerobics, abs, farmers carry and boot camp blast.
Following that, Fit 4 Lifers had to face off in the obstacle challenge to see who were Tuff Enuff to be the finalists in the
ultimate Tuff Enuff Challenge this Saturday, in Fit 4 Life’s Season 2 Grand Finale.
Winners earned prizes such as gift baskets from sponsor Chas E Ramson; gift baskets from GraceKennedy and Aloe Drink; one-month membership with TrainFit Club, Body By Kurt and Sweet Energy Fitness Club; gift bags from Shavuot International, and Fit 4 Life gift bags, T-shirts and water bottles.
Sponsor Chas E. Ramson refuelled everyone with power shakes made with Foska Oats and Blue Diamond Almond Milk; while partner GraceKennedy’s Caribbean Choice provided enjoyable meals. There were also refreshing beverage, from Grace Aloe and Catherine’s Peak, and naturals teas from Shavuot International.
