Jamaica is marred by a high level of indiscipline

-

THE EDITOR, Sir:

JAMAICA HAS been marred with a high level of indiscipline. With a very high crime rate, and a staggering death rate, where the level of fear is exceedingly high – and many people are afraid to go to church at night – Jamaica is indeed plagued with a high level of indiscipline. And indiscipline can, and is leading to all manner of evil.

In Jamaica – where hot-blooded hooligans are murdering their wives and common-law wives like dogs; where domestic violence is sending so many women to their graves before their time; and where killing people has become one of the easiest things to do – it is truly bombarded with a high level of indiscipline.

In Jamaica – where our leaders have never spoken openly or directly to the bus drivers, taxi drivers and conductors to desist from feeding school students and public passengers with lewd music – it is indeed a country that is overshadowed by a high level of indiscipline.

In a Jamaica – which is thicker than blood with corruption, widespread with aggression, intolerance, impatience and the ‘bad man’ attitude, with so many illegal guns and criminal gangs – it is indeed rooted in a high level of indiscipline.

Our country – where little children and senior citizens are being murdered like animals in the butcher’s hands; and where we see people dying like bedbugs in traffic accidents on our roads – it is being significantly plagued by a high level of indiscipline. And the list marches on with more negative details. DONALD J MCKOY donaldmckoy876@gmail.com
