Withstanding the test of time

GRACE FOODS and Services Company is absolutely thrilled to share in this the 50th anniversary celebrations of Grace Kitchens and Consumer Services Centre. Fifty golden years of serving our consumers with distinction is no mean feat, and we pride ourselves as the premier food-distribution company in Jamaica and the Caribbean to have such an important reach.

The establishment of Grace Kitchens in 1969 was a master stroke by then chairman Carlton Alexander as in his visionary approach, he recognised that a company that puts consumers at the heart of what it does is one that can withstand the test of time.

Grace Kitchens has played a critical role in the development of a range of staple products produced by our parent company, Grace Foods and Services. It ensures that for whatever products that will be launched to our valued consumers, all due diligence is done to ensure that they are of extremely high quality.

Over the years, Grace Kitchens has executed several programmes with far-reaching impact and touch

points. Of note is the Creative Cooking television programme that endeared consumers to us by heightening their love affair with food and cooking. Our Breakfast Feeding and School Donation initiatives have assisted tremendously with nation building. The focus on sports nutrition from our inception until the present has been revered and appreciated by many athletes who go on to be world beaters.

The impact of the unit on Grace Foods and Services’ overall marketing activities cannot be overstated as Grace Kitchens, with its team of culinarians, work tirelessly to ensure that programmes and activities, whether in stores or trade, customer appreciation, at health fairs, or at community events are executed to the highest standards.

As a company, we will continue to actively listen and engage with our consumers in order to customise, innovate, evolve, and grow!
