No help for disabled teen?

- MICHAEL BROWN mikebrowntraining@gmail.com

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I WAS deeply concerned by the story ‘No room until a child dies: Aunt told no place in state facility for disabled teen unless a ward passes’ (Gleaner, July 31, 2019). What is the Government’s response to a very worrying and critical situation for this family, with a 16-yearold boy in Newcombe Valley, St Elizabeth, desperately in need of assistance?

Who is helping this aunt? Is there no one that can help or offer some hope? Clearly, they are in need of immediate financial support and therapy.

This is truly a shocking and upsetting story!
